Mills is the victim of abuse, neglect, cruelty and indifference. We can only imagine the terrible environment in which he was living, his coat covered in urine and feces; probably caged 24/7; pain from overgrown nails; constant discomfort from a heavy, matted coat; torture from endless flea bites; agony from untreated arthritis; void of love, vet care and family. Because of someone's evil heart, greed and stupidity, Mills suffered for years and his health is permanently damaged. Things could have been different; Mills didn't have to endure the 'life' he was living. WE BEGČ'Ř|if you see an animal in need, please help; if you want to add ... (Read More)a pet to your family, please adopt, don't support or encourage breeders or puppy mills by buying a pet; please spay/neuter your pets, the number of unwanted and neglected dogs and cats is appalling. Mills became a part of our crew this week and we promised him a new life. Step 1: A loving foster family; thank you for opening your heart and home, AllisonČ'Ř‹. Step 2: Grooming; thank you, For Pet's Sake GroomingČ'Ř‹ for making time for Mills and shaving away the past. Step 3: Vet Care; Mills is approximately 8 years old and weighs 13 lbs. He's heartworm positive, his heart is enlarged, the arthritis in his knees and hips is terrible and he has kennel cough. Treatment has begun; he's taking his medicine, eating good food, playing with toys and getting LOTS of love!! Step 4: Find his forever family; Mills needs a family that accepts his health issues and is willing to continue his treatment and give him the wonderful life he's been deprived of for so long. Despite his past, Mills is sweet, loving, gets along with cats and children and loves to go for a ride in the car. He's the perfect companion for someone that lives a relaxed, low activity lifestyle. Please SHARE and help us find a forever home for Mills. His adoption fee is $150. If you'd like to meet Mills, complete an Application at www.freedomringsrescue.org (Less)
